This series of fuses is suitable for AC 50HZ, rated voltage to 660V, rated current to 100A electrical devices, there are three different types of melts, one as overload and short-circuit protection (gG) in the electrical circuit, the other as short-circuit protection (aR) for semiconductor equipment, but also derived for motor short-circuit protection (aM). .

A variable cross-section melt made of pure copper/silver sheet (or wire) is encapsulated in a tube made of high-strength porcelain or epoxy glass cloth; the tube is filled with chemically treated high-purity quartz sand as an arc extinguishing medium. The two ends of the melt are firmly welded to the end cap by spot welding. The fuse can be equipped with an impactor. When the fuse is fused, the impactor acts immediately, pushes the micro-switch, sends out various signals and switches automatically.
