Description:

Composite polymer insulator is manufactured conforming to international standards and specifications. It is highly resistant to bending, impact, shock and explosion. Reliable internal insulation and light weight make it an ideal replacement for traditional tempered glass insulators.

It is made of a core rod made of epoxy glass fiber rod and a silicone rubber as a basic insulator. The mechanical strength of the epoxy glass fiber rod is quite high, which is 1.6 to 2.0 times the strength of ordinary steel, and 3 to 5 times that of the high strength porcelain.

The three-layer silicone rubber insulated shed has good anti-fouling performance, and does not have problems that common ceramic insulators have, such as cracks, breakage, enamel detachment,etc.. Since the diameter of the middle insulating shed is smaller than the diameter of the upper and lower insulating sheds, the upper and lower insulating sheds do not form a continuous conductive film, and there is no leakage current thermal effect, so it is difficult to cause the insulator to flash.

The composite insulator has excellent electrical properties. The silicone rubber shed has good water repellency and migration, good anti-fouling performance, strong anti-pollution ability, and safe operation in heavy pollution areas. It has high resistance to bending, torsional strength, impact resistance, shock resistance, explosion-proof performance and reliable internal insulation. It is light weight and easy to install. It is an ideal replacement for traditional needle-type porcelain insulators.
